I have a 04 GT with a 3 year waranty does anyone know if new gears would void my waranty. Also what other mods can i do without voiding it.

depends on your dealer. but under most contracts you can put what ever you want on as long as the part doesnt hurt another part on the car. then they wont fix it.

they havent voided mine and look at my mods.
you should be ok.

thanx for the input man can anyone tell my what they were charged for their gear install? I know its different everywhere but just to get an idea would help.

Most people pay between 200-350.

i went to the ford dealer last week to pick up some parts for my car and they said that as long as I didn't go w/ an enormous gear change then my warranty will be good. They were gonna charge 525 including parts and labor for 4.10s. i know the gears were 140.00, so 525-140 = 385 labor. ....i told em' to pound sand.
