The girl's got double D's and blows better
Christmas came early for me.
I had the exhaust done today.
I'm in California so I had to keep the quad cats. After the cats now is all new custom mandrel bent 2.5 tube to a x crossover to a pair of Flowmaster 10 series Delta Force single chamber race mufflers to 3.5 chrome tips out the rear. All CA smog legal, no CEL probs. This **** sounds sick ya'll !!!
UPS came and I got my rims/tires.
Fronts are Bullitt 17x9 with 255/45/17 Kumho's and the rears are 17x10.5 DD Bullitts with 315/35/17 Bfg G Force Drag radials. I don't care about tire ware on the rears. Looks sick as hell !!!
After I mow my yard and rake the leaves , I'll post some more crappy pics from my crappy camera. I might even clean the engine bay this time.
I'm going to try and remove the GT emblems tomorrow.
Anyone have any tips on how to do that without messing up the paint?

As long as its mandrel bent its all good IMO. I'm interrested to see how they did the custom X though.
edit: On a side note - I've been thinking about changing out my mufflers on my american thunder catback and the single chambers are definately one of the mufflers I'm thinking about.

Be prepared tho...those tires lasted me like 5-6k miles. But now that I've had them, these Nittos seem like they suck *** for traction.

They do grip like a welfare recipient and a government check. I just thought I'd get a little more miles out of them than that. It seems like the soft compound is really on the outside of the tire and only makes contact with the surface when they are air down. Maybe we're talking about two different tires. I don't know. I'll have pics tomorrow or Sunday.
