ORIGINAL: smirnoFFz

Well.. since my accident I have plenty of money to spend and tons of time to spend on it.. well besides the new g/f and all, but she understands my hobbies ;]

got me a good g/f for once.

but I plan on building the motor first to atleast 400hp before F/I
Is that even remotely possible out of a 281? I could see 350 with HCI and EVERYBOLTon in the universe with a nasty tune, but even thats ALOT!

Maybe 400 at the fly, but 400rwhp is gonna be damn tough. damn tough.

i didnt read all the other comments....so if someone has already said this, then sorry! but...if you want it to sound like a muscle car (like it should) i reccomend an o/r h pipe, and some flowmasters. this is the set-up i have, and its PERFECT!! sounds mean, deep, throaty, and loud...but not too loud!! love it!! decent hp response too!!

Seriously I see a lot of people go s/c in this forum with very little mods and get good numbers. If you got the money just go that route.

Welcome to MF's!!!!! If you want 400hp N/A outta 2v... you're gonna need major $$$... but if you have major $$$ swap in a 4valve motor outta cobra... and then work it from there... otherwise you can S/C your 2 valve and add alot of boltons!!!

if hes got the money, then a twin-turbo would be a better choice.....and then of course all the boltons.
