last night my friend with a stage 2 srt-4, and exhaust raced a sti with exhaust intake bov and was dyno tuned...they were goin probly 40mph and the sti took off when he was about 2 cars ahead of the srt4..the srt 4 said he caught up to him and stayed right next to him the whole time all the way up to 140...i raced this srt4 from 30mph and 50mph and beat him by almost a car but i cant see me beating a sti with thoes mods...is it possible?

Nein! First off how are you making 270rwhp with just those mods? did you actually get it dynoyed or are you guessing. The STI will walk you for sure unless you either: A) Drop a whole lot of money in N/A upgrades OR B) Go forced induction. You should be able to beat the STI easily with your mods+a little supercharger.

lol. srt4's are fast from a roll. specially over 20 mph roll. so 40mph the srt had the atdvantage already. the sti should kill it from a dig. the all wheel drive in the sti actually hurts him from a roll because he has powertrain loss. but i dont see how all the sudden the srt4 can catch the sti out of no where when he is two cars ahead of him unless the sti was letting off. i dotn think you can beat one. if you win itll be from driver error. thats seems to happen alot. maybe hell miss 4th gear or some ****[:@]

I've pulled on STIs with just exhaust work done. But my other buddy that has full exhaust work plus some other goodies and a good dyno tune put like 4 cars on me from a roll, the other STI I raced I hung with in first and 2nd gear, then pulled in third, was from a dig.

Even if you can beat one in a straight line. At the end of the day a STI can still do this

add it up...a stock gt makes 235rwhp...exhaust 10, plenum and t body 5, intake 5, pully 5, dyno tuned 10...give or take a few h/p here and there and thats about 35hp right there 235+35=270...it got dynoed at 268rwhp, 298 to the flywheel and 305 lbs torque

225ish - avg rating from most dynos.

of course if you used a special dyno.. then a stock gt can make 250rwhp.. if it really wanted to.

exhaust 10, plenum and t body 3, intake 1, pully 4, dyno tuned 10...give or take a few h/p here and there and thats about 35hp right there

My guess is your only at 255rwhp.

5hp from a CAI BAHAHAHAHAHA
