i dunno...my mom has a 2000. its probaly just my seats giving the illusion since they sit higher i guess. i really dont know its weird. i also have a convertible compared to her coupe if that has anything to do with it

The suspension is stiffer on the GT's, and mach 1's are supposed to be a lil lower than the GT's, lie .75 inches. My 03 GT for some reason sits up a lil higher than my friends 01 GT, i can figure it out, but I really doubt there is a 6 inch difference between abd nustabgm unless some redneck converted it to a 4wd.

the lower part of you front licence plate should be 15inch off the groind & side skirts are 7inch off the ground & the middle of the wheelarches are 28inch off the ground on a stock V6. but my mustang book that we all have & came with the car says that the height of a v6 is 53.3 inch but the GT is 59.9 inch. so the GT is 6inch higher. read ur book page 188

my side skirts are 6.5inch off the ground & licence plate is 14inch off the ground & wheelarches 27inch so its been lowered 1inch. i didnt lower the car the previous owner did so i had to measure it against a stock mustang.

so r u saying that our GTs ride rougher than the 6ers? I know it feels a ton more stiffer but i use to have a 6 and my gt rode a lot better. it might be because my 6er had 120k and stock suspension
