I got two mtx 12s installed now it seems the car is just rattling apart. o well I dont mind tightning every weekend.

How the hell did you fit that thing in there? Everywhere I go I get turned down saying I can't fit anything in my trunk. How did you get it in there?

It looks nice man.

I'd rather listen to the ponies though. Wow, that's got to weigh a lot.

Dynamat might solve some of your rattling issues.

Ive got 2 alpine 10s in my trunk. The box fits perfectly between the amps for the rear speakers (Mach 460). Easy to slide in and out. I picked the box up at long radio for 75 bucks.

I just put two 10" Rockford Fosgate punches in my trunk and mounted the amp to the backside of the seat behind my passenger side....I listen to a lot of fast metal and I like how the 10"s rebound faster than most 12" for the double kick drums and such......

it works out pretty good, but i'm noticing a lot of internal rattles...like the two doors/armrests/handles.... it kicks pretty hard man...and my license plate rattles like a mother f*&^er when i got it going...so i feel your pain....
+1 i would have 12s but i also like how the 10s hit faster. my friends 12s sound like they are lagging behind the rest of the sound a little bit, so i put 2 10s in the back of mine.

I had a hard time fitting one 12" JL in a very small wedge box through the trunk opening, how did you get that big box in?

just a question, why did you face the subs up? I tried that once in my old laser, and I got like 1/2 the volume I was getting from having them face the back?

Looks heavy

i'm guessing he probably just took the whole trunk lid off maybe or im not sure if you could fit them through the back seats or not. i have 2 10"'s in my back and the amp on the backside of my rear seat, i don't have much rattling except for my one speaker that is ****ed up causes it to sound like crap during different tunes the bass makes i guess. the whole setup probably adds around 75ish pounds so i'm not too concerned about it, i'm not dying to get every single little bit of speed my car has, i mean if your car has enough power who cares if you have like 75+ pounds added on. but talking about weight anyways, does anyone know what stock 96 gt wheels weigh?
