Ever since I got my exhaust put on, the radio hasnt been touched. I just listen to the exhaust notes going down the road

Just answer me one question why did you buy comp VRS???? Those blow. Did you do any reasearch? I would have picked up some W3's and a good 500/1 amp.

How are subs gay? Im very tired of this word being thrown around. Im guessing you have never heard a high end audio system? Adding a little bass can do wonders for your listening expirence.


And as far as what 20004.6 said: The loudest bass can be achieved from the subs facing out along with the port, if it exhists, when the box is facing out and slid all the way to the back of the trunk.

U guys may know alot about gears and exhaust but sound usta be my fortey, I had multiple thousnd dollar systems when i was in HS, when i bought my stang i just dropped the whole extreme car audio. Now im more into speed, but i do still have some regualr 10's in my garage awaitng install, i just never get around to getting the job done.

I would rather have people hear me coming because of my exhaust not because of my 2 12' subs kickin some mad beats yo. I am 19 and find that to be a immature high school ricer thing. Also I only listen to rock/metal so anything more than 1 10' is pointless

Apparently you have never had subs before. You can get alot of good bass before anyone can ever hear it outside.
Primered body kits that dont fit are "ricer" subs in your trunk aren't.

Wouldnt you rather have both? To me I think that is kinda a dumb way to look at it. I have a peice of **** speakers in my car wait we can listen to my exhaust the whole way. Dont get me wrong I like the sound of my exhaust but I also like to listen to music. How much do you have to turn up your radio to even here it over your exhaust.

I still dont see why guy guys are getting into debates between getting systems and hearing ur exhaust. It all depends on what kinda musice u listen 2. If you like rock/metal you would benfit more from 2 8's or a single 10 becasue if you start jamming megadeth on 2 15's its gonna sound really overly bass heavy, which is the exact opposite from rap/hip hop. Which i will say does sound much better becuase of the long low bass hits.

My car consistantly ran 4 tenths slower in the quarter with 4 8' solo barics. They sounded amazing though. They are all in individual truck boxes, this is because I had 2 in a reg cab tacoma, and got a good deal on 2 more. Each box weighs about 45 lbs, i've learned to take them out before track day! They actually made the car sit a little lower in the ***.. so I sold 2, and kept 2. Still sounds good, and not so much weight.
