i think it would depend on the money you have to spend. if you don't have very much i would just maybe do the PI swap for your car and do some other small mods.

well im going to end up spending a lot of money on the pi swap with cams, etc and p&p the heads, valve job, so i might as well get a fox...plus they are lighter and i can make it a lot faster, plus my car has 100,000 miles and with the higher compression it will wear my engine down and i plan i driving this until it doesnt run nemore...but what kind of engine should i swap into the fox body...so idk

408 stroker FTW!

I am planning on doing a fox/pinto/futura build (whatever comes up, I really like the idea of the futura though) in a couple years. No question I want a 351W based setup and alot (alot) of nitrous.

I don't think they need quite THAT much weight on the front end, but I like the idea of a small car with alot of CI.

The futura looks like a definate possiblity. At least there is something to work with (unlike the ecnocar based pinto the futura is a fox frame) but it only weighs in around 2800 pounds WITH a 5.0L drivetrain swapped in.

They had one in the latest issue of MM&FF, was a really interesting build/car. I really really like the idea of a 2800 pound car with a 351 stroker and a big shot of juice

If it was responding to mine it was a complete joke. Thoes are the uglist cars ever made.

If i was gonna do a buildup i would be a 93 lx 5.0 sedan and then drop in a 351. Lightest outa the group and look amazing.

Thats the entire point!

Wouldn't it be great to cruise around in a big horsepower pinto/futura etc? All the little ricer boys would talk smack, all the old vette dudes would laugh, and then ya pull the front tires off the ground a few feet
