SPEC stage 1.

What is confusing me is it is not happening consistanly. Somtimes it smell strong and happens right away. Other times it is just the opposite.

I did some research and I have come across several instances where SPEC clutch users have experienced this problem. For those who have installed SPEC clutches have you had a strange smell during the break in period?

Sounds like its slipping to me. Makes sense that you never fully disengage the clutch cause your only moving the pedel 2 ". Adjust it, you should be ok if its not too late. If you get on it real hard, does it feel like the motor is reving faster than it used to and the car not moving at fast?

I just installed it Saturday. I am trying to avoid getting on it so that it breaks in properly.

I dont really think you need to break in a clutch. Thats like breaking in brake pads.
