brake pedal really stif and doesn't return, the car stop but you have tu pull the pedal back, good thing is auto, please any ideas, thank you

siezed brake piston...emann0007 had that problem...if his symptoms were the same then it may be that...is the pedal just stiff or is stopping the car also a problem?
