Default Any Mods I'm Missing here before I go FI?

O.K. ya'll, I think I am ready to stop spending and start saving for FI.

Performance mods are:

CAI, 75mm TB, C&L plenum, big brakes, custom exhaust, MGW shifter, DD's and rubber, 3.73's going in on Friday, Eibachs on the way.Edit, oops. I forgot the upper and lower control arms.

Is there anything else I should spend money on before I go with a supercharger?

I know the bottom end on these things are limited. I'll go forged after the FI.

expand on your custom exhaust. Do you have headers?

Colder spark plugs. Maybe a 180* thermostat. And give yourself a coolant change just to be on the safe side.

you're missing: Clutch (if you plan on going above 400-450rwhp), transmission (the stock ones really suck anyway - not to mention 400rwhp), might want to upgrade your axle if you plan on goin to the track. Longtubes are a good mod to do also once you are that far along - but, I would replace the clutch and tranny first If your goin to do that (you will have to if you stay above a high hp#).. if you put on longtubes, and not switch the clutch/tranny out - when you go to replace those eventually you will need to drop the longtubes...

EDIT: you're also missing suspension like SFC, better springs, LCA's - why supercharge the car if you can't get any traction?

Naw, I don't have headers and I don't really plan on getting them any time soon. They just don't make that big of a difference until you are making serious HP. Maybe on down the road when my goal of 500rwhp is reached.

I figured I'd have to go with a stage 2 or better clutch. I forgot about that!!! Thanks man. So the tr3650 can't handle HP?

the stock clutch will be fine on the street, but at the track it will slip. The tranny itself is a tank.

Take your budget that you think you're gonna spend and add 20%.

Go to a good strong clutch. You may not "need" it but the stock clutch will go fast and a high-po clutch will grab better. Also think about maybe rebuilding your rear end and getting an eaton 4-clutch rear end. By the way man headers DO make a big difference. Long tubes that is. With FI it makes a BIG BIG difference.
