dumped exhaust is where you cut off the piping off of ur catback...i think you leave like around 3 inches right after the mufflers and turn it down....anyone feel free to correct me

I thought its when you have hidden turn downs instead of tips.

So what do you consider and exhausting dump? Anything heavier than 3 lbs?

Basically you take off the tips of the exhaust. Leave the piping off right after the mufflers. So everything is normal except right after the mufflers there is no more piping. You can add turn down pipes if you want. I have also heard of people just leaving it as is without the turn down pipes.

Dumped exhaust is LOUD and vibrates the car., mainly because the **** are right under your ***, as opposed to out the rear.

I just installed a dumped exhaust. The piping is cut off right after the mufflers and turned down tips are welded on. The tips "dump" the exhaust out to the ground right before the axle. There is no more piping that goes over the axle and no tips out the back. Sounds awesome.
