You posted no link. If it says for a Ford 8.8 rear then yes it is correct

I have a question. you'll notice in my sig that my shift kit is on the way. once i install that and these gears (if i decide to purchase), is a tuner something i HAVE to get or is it just something recommended?

recommended because it will allow you to adjust your speedo, but your not messing with fuel ratio or anything to distort performance

Yes those gears are the correct fitment for your car. You do not need a tune for a shift kit and gears. You do need to recalibrate the speedometer due to the new gear ratio. I'd recommend getting an install kit and new rear bearing kit when you get the gears. It's only $60 bucks or so more. You'll get all new seals and bearings. Might as well do it now while the diff cover is off. Good Luck Bro!![sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Those gears will work and I would go with the tuner. If you don't your speedometer will be completely inaccurate and you will be adding more miles on your car than what you actually drove.

It's also useful for clearing those damn CEL's if you decide to go with an O/R.
