How the heck am I supposed to have a cup in the cup holder? Its bad enough that I have to reach over it. Not to mention 2nd, and 4th gear knock my cup over.

The secondary holder is made for like a super mega gulp at 711 and doesnt even fit normal sized drinks in it.

What have you came up with besides the freeze your nuts off tactic(in between the leg)

Get a short shift.

In one of the cupholders, there is this rubber insert that allows both cupholders to be able to securely hold soda cans. You might be missing that rubber thingie thing.

+1 on the ss. If I ever have a drink there I put it in the holder furthest away from the stick. Mine works fine from 711 big gulps too 12 ounce cans. I was driving to the movies with my girlfriend and she had a big cup in the first holder. I couldnt shift into 4th and it grinded going in. Right after that I said *** it I am getting a short shifter

Drinking items, sodas, water, and/or other personal liquids are STRICTLY BANNED in my vehicle at all times. I use them for Cell Phone holders...etc.... I usually employ the tactic of "F-it" and wait it out. Like when I would pull over in the middle of nowhere on long **** drives just to smoke a cig.

Well if ur complaing about the placement then u have over looked the fact that the holders are about 1 inch deep so even if u get a cup in there its gonna fall out in turns. But ford has fixed this problem in the 05's becasue there deeper and larger.
