I took the speedo needle to the little peg that is in the guage to stop it from going all the way down. Im guessing 155-160 tops. Felt surprisingly smooth at that speed on an open section of freshly paved interstate at 0200 in the morning. Not very smart on my part. Guess thats why I havent been over 110 since.

Brand new to forums. 
Had mine up to 145 once, but was running out of highway before curve, that i can take at a max of 80. Was very smooth there, and didn't notice any uplift of the front end. But didn't really seem to have much left, and I haven't had it anywhere near that speed since. Such stupidity, lmao.

I did 160MPH in my skittle (SRT-4). Ever since I got my car it's either been crappy out, or I was working on it. I have'nt drove it all that much really. I took it to 110 once, but thats it. In the Mustang I don't feel like I gotta prove anything. Everybody knows Mustangs can haul ace. However the SRT-4 was a animal, but I always had something to prove to someone.

I had mine to 130 once. It was on a nice straight smooth blacktop road at night, I was in 5th and it still had plenty left. I probally will never go that fast in the stang again just because I know what will happen if a tire blows or something else breaks down at that speed.

hey mustang in your honest opinion which car did you like beter and why...everyone i know has a srt 4...n they sweat them so much since uve had both wats ur opinion...

I still have issues with my car in this departmen....for some reason my car cuts off at about 115-120 like its governed. I know the guy i bought it from and he didn't do anything to it. But i can't figure out why it does that...could it be any of my mods? I don't why it would be though, nothing has been done to the computer.
