Default VT cams

Will stage 1 VT cams fit into my 96 gt with stock heads?? If so then what do you think the install would cost?

VT may be able to custom grind you a set for your NPI car.

I believe the only differences are the .500 lift compared to the .550 lift.

You can use the .550 lift cams in NPI heads... the VT cams should work.

They won't work in NPI heads without modification to the spring pockets and or some offset retainers. It can be done but if your gonna take your heads off to be modified to run an aftermarket PI cam you might as well get them ported also.

How, then, are people able to swap the PI cams into a NPI head with no clearance issues? People do the PI cams/intake swap often without swapping heads.

stock pi cams are very mild and don't have as high a lift as the VT PI cams...

I didn't realize that .550 lift PI heads and .550 lift VT cams had different lift figures...
