Do you guys think my 00GT 5 speed with just a K&N filter can compete with a stock EVO?

sorry 2 say but it wont compete unless the evo has a crappy driver...I raced a stock evo from a light when I was completely stock and the evo didnt even do the famous AWD launch on me and he still took me by a car length....u will have a better chance from a role but I'd still give the win 2 the evo

Eh, get one from a roll & hope you run into a mediocre driver. Although you do have an automatic and a race from a roll won't be your best friend...

I raced this kids Evo from a roll and he couldn't pull on me at all. We went from a light and I got violated...

from a role I have no problem w/ them now but from a stop I still get raped

Auto 04, the auto 04 will run mid 14's stock, and the 98 5spd will run 15's stock.

Auto's are just as quick as the 5-speed ones...they have been known out here to run from 14.0 to 14.5 i saw one fella put down a 13.89 with just a shift kit.
