Default Winter Storage Tips

Im getting my car ready for storage. I need some help on some things to do before putting it away for the winter.

Mouse traps, around the perimeter of wherever you are storing the car, since mice won't run across the center of a floor.

Dry gas, consider disconnecting the battery and hooking it to a trickle charger. Don't worry about lifting the car unless it's going to be sitting for 6 months.

I have never stoared a car. Why would you want to put it up on a lift if longer than 6 months?

bad for the tires to sit in one spot

Wouldnt it be bad for the shocks though? Becasue there always extended?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the best way to prevent flat spots in the tires is to keep the tires fully inflated.

My I also suggest using dryer sheets, yes dryer sheets placed around the wheels since mice hate the smell of those really stinky ones. (sure beats moth *****)

dont lift it, just use some foam pads to park on,

get a batter tender, not charger

fill up the gas tank, add dry gas, do an oil change, and detail the car, also get a breathable car cover from covercraft

do NOT start it unless you plan on driving it for a good 20 miles

You put the floor jacks under the suspension points so the shocks aren't fully extended.
