It would be best to get the Headers at the same time as the cams wouldn't it? From what i've read it's a BIG pain to put lt's in..

IMO you really need to get a couple more supporting boltons before looking at a set of cams.

I have never seen a set of cams in a basically stock car. If I were you, I would be looking to get a set of LTs, a midipe, underdrive pulleys (unless you really will be able to supercharge the car anytime soon) a couple intake boltons, a handheld, and maybe pull a fast one and get the gears put in at your local shop without anyone knowing about it.

I guess I will go with a full exhaust rather than the cams, I'm just hesitant to spend 5-800 on just install on them.. Did you install yours?

it doesnt matter when you do a header or cam install. you wont have any advantage of doing both at the same time. unless you have the whole engine out of the car. i did my cams last. this is the order i did my stuff on my car

1.intake
2.catback
3. 4.10 gears
4.headers
5. midpipe
6.tuner
7.cams
8. drag radials

Take the $700 put it in savings. Your cars fast enough for now. Get ready for college and buying a house and getting married. Haha you get to a point where you're like crap. . . i should have saved more money! Either that or PAY OFF YOUR CAR!!! (if you're still making payments on it. . . ) SO many people put thousands into their cars and pay the very least a month they can to pay it off. If you put all that money into paying off your car you'd: a) Not have a car payment and a lot more car spending money & b) Not have to have full coverage over the top expensive insurance to pay. Alright. Sorry. I am officially kicking myself off of here for that one. []
