I would do an H. I like that rumbly muscle sound though. If your a hillbilly and like NASCAR, go with the X, and be Jimmy Johnson all you want to be.

What are you talking about???? That is beyond dumb. H-pipe makes the raspy sound, especially coming down the rpm's. X is the way to go for the power and the sound. MM&FF did an article, look it up. [sm=headbang.gif]

Go with an H-pipe. I have a catted shorty x-pipe. When I step on the throttle hard and between shifts its raspy. I dont like that. If I had the money or had to pick again I would get a catted h-pipe.

Uhh, no, X is definitely the raspy one. Go watch some videos.

I'd get the H if I were you, at least that's what I want to do myself when I have some money for it. I much prefer the sound of an H and as said before, HP difference is negligible.

I've always thought the X pipes were the more raspy ones. At least that's how it seems on the videos.

thanks for all of the input... i guess my bigest problem is finding that right combo LM1 or LM2 with a catted H or X.... so if any of yall have sound clips or info on where to find some with these combos that would be great.

Just got to streetfire.net or youtube and search for video clips. There are a ton on there.

Just get the slp catted x to match. You can switch between cats and no cats at your discretion. Its all stainless steel and a quality piece. If in the future you want to upgrade to longtube headers all you have to do is buy the slp longtubes, the x will work with them. No need to search for a header/mid pipe combo.
