Need some opinions...

RE: Need some opinions...
Yes, I'm a girl. =)
I don't know how anyone can possibly stay away from the 'Stang world.
The one I have my eye on is a 1999 Mustang, V6. It's a deep bluish teal color. I've never seen anything like it, but I'm not sure if it was custom painted by someone before the dealer got it?

Automatic for now. I am pretty good with a Manual, but I do tons of city driving so it really wouldn't be as enjoyable for me.
I don't have any pictures yet, as I only spotted it Saturday. It's a bit pricey though- which is holding me back. It has 56k miles and the dealer wants $8,999. It has power windows/locks, the body is in INCREDIBLE shape with only one tiny scratch...which are the only reasons I can think of why he'd mark it almost $1,500 over KBB.

Thats pretty expensive, even for that milage. My 99GT with 64k on the clock is kbb valued at $9,800 retail. What options does it have other than power windows/locks? Where are you located? That has alot to do with prices.

KBB on the car in excellent condition is $7,685. I'm located south of Milwaukee in WI.
There isn't any other special features that I saw of.
My dad claims it may be a dealer tha marks the price high on the cars and then gives you more on your trade-in to make it seem as if you're getting a good deal. I think we'll go talk to the dealer and test drive it sometime this week.
I'm just not sure if I should get a car that old when I can afford something newer. If it wasn't such a nice color and in good shape, I wouldn't even give it a second glance. What do you think?

Other options would be leather, power seat, Mach stereo. If you're gonna test drive it, you might as well test drive a GT (1999+) too. Won't hurt any and you may change your mind.
Either way, work on that price. It's too much.
