Well the car Im buying on saturday has one on it. It has been ported and polished to fit patriot stage 3 heads. The guy that built this engine said he got it to match up really well, and after some work it would flow just as well as anything hes seen. So, whats so bad about them?
It comes with Plenum and TB. why not? Its a hell of alot better than the plastic one ur stuck with now.

"This manifold has been chassis dyno proven to produce 21.5 more rear wheel hp than a stock manifold at 6,500 rpm. More torque from 4,000 rpm on up."--Blue Oval Industries

I don't think those numbers are worth the money. I suppose if you were running 6500 rpm's all day long it might be worth it.

There my friend is where a forged stroker kit, heads and cams come in quite handy.

So what does it say about 6000 rpm? 5500? Just think of it like this. A TB/Plenum combo runs what ? 375-400? And the intake+combo is 700? Worth it all day long. 300 for an intake thats not plastic is worth it. Hp gain or NOT!!!!!!!

To the best of my knowledge Accufab makes Throttle bodies and plenum(also called upper intake). No actual intake manifolds. Theres not a more reasonably priced intake out there. YET.
