Go with the 10s in the rear with something like a 315/35. It'll make it look mean as hell. Up front, I think a 9 with a 255/40 would look good. I've seen a stang with 275/40s on the front but I didn't like it. The tire stuck outside the fenderwell. As for 17 or 18 in, thats all up to you.

Here is how tire sizes work. Take a 315/35/17 for instance. 315 is how wide the tire is, 315 mm wide. 35 is the height, 35 percent of the width tall. And ofcourse 17 is the rim size.

Hmm, well what type of wheel you want is going to be your own personal preference. But Even with the 17's and 18's is just gonna be what you want. Out of my two mustangs one had 8.5 in the from and 9.5 in the back and the other one has 9 in front and 10 in back. You wont be able to rotate your tires with this set up but it looks good and helps a lot with traction. With tires, we will use the example of 275/40/18. The 275 is how wide the tire is. If your going for traction then the wider the better that you can fit on your rim. I have 295's on the 10" wide rims but you can fit bigger. The 40 is how tall the profile of the tire is. So if you have a lowered car you would want to go with 35's or 40's. The lower you go the rougher your ride will be. And of course the 18 is just what rim it goes on. So basically, what type rims you get plays a big roll in what tires you will need. If you decide on a set of rims, let us know then we will help you pick out some tires. Hope that answered your questions!

Yep the 9's in front with 245 or 255 and 10.5's in back with 295's up to 315's. I went with the 245 in front and 295 in back but should have done the 255's in front. Totally your call on 17 or 18.
