Default might sound wierd

I have a 96 grand marquis and i was wondering if, i could put a stroker kit, bore it out, or port and polish heads, when i get the motor rebuilt, my problem is my intake manifold is plastic, so what couls i do to get some more hp on the engine?

is the engine the same its a 4.6L, r there cams out ther etc.

You can do all those things, the intake manifold being plastic isn't going to have an effect on adding HP. If you want to stay N/A you could always put a Bullit intake on the car, good for some HP and it is aluminum. You will have to make up a intake pipe for it to work and might have to change the valve covers.
