I put a spec stage 1 clutch in my car and I HAD to buy a adjustable clutch cable. I started my car and tried to move it with the stock clutch cable and the pressure plate was half engaged so i burnted up my new clutch, not good for break in procedures[:@] I bought a quadrant, and firewall adjuster while I was at it... Its a good thing to have even if you need one or not. What clutch are you installing? If you are replacing it with a stock clutch, you wont need it. But with an aftermarket one you might.

lol We just asked the same question but you were 10 seconds quicker[:'(]
I also would really like to know this, I have heard of many people on this forum installing the king cobra but they never mention a clutch cable. So I am assuming that it is not neccesary with the king cobra.

The king cobra is really close to a stock unit. You dont need a new cable. I'm putting mine in on sunday and am not going to use a new cable.

for the king cobra no you do not need a new clutch cable. IMO do not get adjustable ones. MM stopped selling them because of breakages and the OEM has the best quality on the market. If you want adjustability get a firewall adjuster and quadrant.
