no, no, no. I guess if you want to do that you can. It will shift normally while in D.

i agree!! definately do it...way sharper shifts, throws you in the seat a little....definately a good route to go...until you have enough and it is appropiate for a dyno tune, which will really put your car in top notch condition!

So wait, let me get this straight. This is something that I want to get for my car, but I want some more info first.

You're saying that you just leave it in "D" to shift and it makes your shifts firmer and faster. But the ad on ebay says that "The transmission will shift down when you shift it and will hold the gear you select to any RPM." So does that mean that you're supposed to do the 1-2-D thing and downshift when you want, or is it just an option type thing.

Sorry if this is a noob question or w/e but I really want to find out more about this stuff before I get it for my car.

You know, i wasn't too sure about that either. I think it's just an option type thing. I just drive mine in D all the time.
