the govener on a 99 gt is set at 110. and of course that is the fastest i went in the stang. i had a maxima that did 125 stock.

Is this true? If so thats pretty retarded. My 3rd gear does close to 100MPH. Never went past 100MPH though.

Edit- Fastest I have ever gone was a 160 in my old car (SRT-4).

yea i m usually in the 5.0 but i just happened to see this and i got my stang up to 120 racin my buddies del sol and oh hell yea i could of gone faster but there was an accident up ahead
