but i was always curious what do mach 1 owners do when they have to drive in the rain, with their shaker hoods
does it suck in rain or water or what

 

there are drain holes in the duct work to account
for water intrusion, no water gets to the air filter

 

plus if you look at it the tubing goes from the intake all the way down to the front/side of th engine bay, thru the filter, and the all the way up the intake tract.

Lots of tubing. I am sure you could get a litlte vapor in there, but everyone can with it raining.
