why?

Weight savings are negligable and you loose your back seat...

I looked into it and the company told me it was going to be like a 30 to 40 pound weight reduction... I decided to go on a diet instead.

Exactly, and if you REALLY need something to make a flat surface because it bugs you, then go get a piece of plywood and cover it in cloth that matches your interior. That's all you'd get out of one you'd pay for probably (except maybe even lighter than plywood, dunno)

I'm already on a diet and back into excellent shape (6 months of doing 7days a week of cardio, and the last 3 months I have also incorporated 4days a week of weight training, and I'm eating insanely healthy). Basically...I have no weight left to lose, its all going to be gaining muscle mass now.

But back on topic, I just hate the back seat....its ugly (cloth interior) and its 100% pointless. 40lbs savings is better than no savings.

it gives you an excuse to use someone elses car when you have to be the DD!!!! And that greatly reduces the risks of drunkards messing up your car.... besides.. the mustang backseat is pointless unless you're 5'1'.. and no one can sit behind me becuase there's an inch of legroom... i'm 6'5' lol
