No photoshop at all, plus it is pretty foggy outside, that's why the background is like that. And the guy said it was clean and all, plus I got a CarFax for it and it was clean. But right when I bought it, there was a small mark on the hood, then the next time I cleaned it, the paint just...fell off! I don't know what the deal is! Anyone know of a good price for a real paint job...no flat haha.
EDIT: Also it is a 2003 GT, not an older model...if anyone wanted to know.

look around at some local paint shops. Paint is one of those things that varies greatly. If you are close to central PA I know a great guy. He is also the nicest guy alive. I've taken my car over to his shop twice for minor things and he barely charged me anything.

There should be no significat price difference between gloss and matte paints.
The paint itself is actually a very small portion of the price associated with painting a vehicle.
Most of the cost comes from the labor to prep the car.

Now before anyone pipes up about the cost of multiple coats, i am not talking about a base/clear job.
I am referring to your average body shop enamel.

Bottom line, the only way that a matte paintjob will cost you less, is if it comes out of a rattle can

wow i don't see how a car that new, is doing that. Either he wrecked it and painted it himself. THat's why the title is clear. Or he tortures the hell out of that car,no wash, no wax or something. THat's child abuse.

That car has been repainted. Maybe he wrecked it and didnt report it. Its deffinately not original. Looks like it was painted while the metal was cold. I know its alot more expensive, but get base/clear, it looks SSOOOOOOO much better.

Do all of the prep yourself, and you can usually get a shop to shoot factory quality base/clear for less than $500.

Now if you want show quality (no orange peel, multiple clear coats, etc) it goes WAY up from that point.

ATLEAST, ATLEAST go to maaco, you can get a decent paint job that will shine, for like 700 bucks, then save up and spend the 1500 like your supposed to, at a good shop.
