engine trouble
so i was gettin on the onramp of the freeway and in like 3rd gear my rpms dropped down to like 2500 and the and i lost mostly all throttle response the only thing i could do was barely cruise over to the shoulder. after the rpms dropped the engine was really rocky like it was firing unevenly. so i got it towed back to my house and i tried to start it again but it wouldnt start right away and when it did it was the same thing with the entire car shaking alot during idle. i plugged in my sct to read the trouble codes and it said fuel too rich so i made the fuel 4% leaner and when i started it again it started normal and idled fairly normal but when i went to see if i could drive it it got really rocky again. my best guess is that a piston is not firing right which is causing the shaking but im not sure. any suggestions/advice is appreciated thanks

RE: engine trouble
Yes be careful on the lean you could get detonation. If a cylinder wasnt firing would he get a rich code? Pull some plug wires while its running and narrow it down if you can. See if maybe its just a wire or plug.
