This car sounds very badass....I want a cam....

For those of you with cams, does yours sound much like this? Can Comp cams or VT's give me that sound?

Mine sound a lot like that. Aren't cams great? You won't get that kind of sound just from cams alone, you need a good exhaust setup as well.

 

Cams are the ****...I want cams badly. Did you install them yourself? If so, were they difficult?

Well, I just did the whole motor, so the cams were part of the assembly, but I have done cams before. It takes 6-8 hours roughly to do with the motor in the car. It is moderately difficult, but well worth it.

 

If comp, at least the stage two, maybe 3. Trust me, stage 2 is really lopey and sound a lot like that.

 

are the possible to run with stock shortblock and head?

yes but you wont get full gains from being able to rev it all the way... im running stage 3's right now with stock shortblock and heads...
