Default Need to replace one of my cats on BBK X-Pipe

I hit a bump in the road and my right catalytic converter scraped. Just some tiny scratches on the cat, but it's starting rattle.

I was wondering what the best way to go about replacing this would be? I don't want to replace my whole BBK X-Pipe, cause I really like it.

Anyone know of a replacement cat that won't screw up my exhaust note?

it could be the heat shield that is loose it shouldnt have caused a rattle on the inside its a honeycomb kinda f setup so if anything if would have cracked. I would check the shield first.

I raised the car up and tried messing with it. It won't make any noises when I bang it with my fist or wiggle it around, but when I start the car and rev it, it rattles like crazy.

thanks....I hear ya on not wanting to by the whole thing but you would probably end up cheaper that way if you think the problem is internal because no matter what cat you get its not going to be the same and like I am I like two of the same of everything or im uneasy...and you said the heat sheild is not damaged or is?

The aren't any dents or anything on the shield that would make you think the cat would go bad....it's just like a couple of scratches and that's it. Makes the car sound like total sh*t though.

Maybe I should just get an O/R pipe.

Why not call bbk and ask if you can order just the cat? I'm sure they have some way of selling just the cat and not the rest of the x pipe.

I just did, but they said they don't sell individual cats.[:'(] I asked the service lady if she could sneak one out of the stock room before it's welded on, and she said NO.
