Default ...Need help on GEARS...
hey guys.
i have a 98 gt withnew pi heads intake and cams.
i was wondering what would be the best gears to put on without changing anything and still geta good kick.

4.10's they will get your stang into its powerband quicker. Theyre not too bad on the highway. You may lose 1-3mpg but who cares, its a mustang.

you bought the mustang for speed... not gas... so go with 4.10s and you'd pick up a few tenths on the quarter... and scarepeople onthe street... and my spacebar is shot.

4.30s... Acer did pi swap and 4.30 gears and he owned new edge gts like they were civics.

why not 3.73

Cause most people with 3.73's wish they would have gotten 4.10's.

Go with 4.10's. I average 24 MPG with mine on the highway and 15 in the city. It all depends on how you drive it.
