When I decided to go for 500+ rwhp, my tuner said the safe way (for fuel delivery) was to upgrade to the Cobra tank/pumps. He said that no aftermarket GT pumps would do the job reliably. It was expensive ($1200), but worth it for the reliability.

I have the KB Boost-a-pump too.

$1200? Wow you got jacked. I paid $566 for everything on mine. Used tank and brand new fuel pump unit(changed to svt pumps) I kkow the list for each is like $600 plus. but you've got to shop around before buying anything. You can ALWAYS find it cheaper elsewhere.

I recommend you just go to the Ford Dealer ship.
Tell them you want a single fuel pump for a Ford GT.
Other options include: SVT Focus, or Lincoln Aviator. I'm sure there are others but these are pumps that I KNOW will work.
It'sa straight forwardinstall, drop the tank (make sure it's practicallyempty), disconnect the wires, fuel lines, and the thing coming from the gas cap.Take the basket out, remove the pump, put the new pump in, and put it all back together.

I burned up 3 different Walbro pumps on 3 different cars. I will never buy another.

Focus pump are good to about 450 rwhp. I don't think the fp is your problem though.
What is my problem? I didnt think I had a problem yet. This is for when I'm spraying

Exactly!!! Thank you. Damn I'm good. lol. The part # for the SVT Focus Pump is PFS-204 or you can enter the long version 3S4Z-9H307-BC

Just some extra help if you go with one.

$1200 is the dealer list price for "new". I actually found mine on-line for $800, but that shop doesn't sell them for that price any more, so I quoted Ford's price. Shopping around can save $$, buying "used" can work out.... or not.

Regardless, if you want to put 550+ to the ground, the safe way is with Cobra tank/pump.
