my mustangs "service engine soon light" came on the other day and my car stutters and lurches when I drive it for the first 5 min..and it feels like alot of my power is gone...so I took it to ford this morning and they tried to run the code but couldnt b/c of my aftermarket chip and it wont b under warranty either....my question is how do I find out whats wrong w/ my car if the chip wont let it read the code??...I'm callin the guy who burned my chip tomorrow and ask him but also wanted to ask u guys for second opinions...

 

REMOVE THE CHIP!!!Ihad a chip lose it's mind and those were the same symptoms.If this clears up the problem then call the chip maker and get a replacement.
