Default nitto's or bfg's

Which drag radial is the best? I know that bfg's will probably yield slightly better times but nittos last alot longer. What kind of times have you guys run with both of these tires?
The only reason MT isn't in the discussion is b/c they don't make a dr for a 10.5 rim.

Nittos last longer but you need areallygoodburn on them to get them to hook up on the track..... along with playing with the tire pressure.

BFGs in my experience did very well on the track with agood burn and messing around with the tire pressure getting the tire as soft as possible for track conditions.....

HOWEVER....

The Nittos, expecially the 555r hook up way better on the street in my opionion.

BFG's for traction and Nittos for longetivity. I never had any traction luck with Nittos.

a 275mm MT et street radial will fit on a 10.5 just fine. i would go with the MT if you have the cash to replace tires often otherwise the BFG are good middle ground. but i had nitto 555R on my white saleen and had bad traction issues

Had Nitto's and BFG's before.

Nitto's are a better option for a DD. BFG's will hook harder cold & at the track, won't have much more than a 5k treadlife.

What do they cost? Yeah I only got 5k out of my BFG's, but that was with several weekends at the track.

I've worn down a pair of tires SOOOOOO bad on time that literally.... it had just started raining lightly and I tried to get my car going up this 25 degree incline...... Nope she wasn't having it..... I had to back up about 30 feet on to flat dry surface and charge her up the hill. *sigh* good times.
