Best thing to do is have your own heads ported and put bigger stainless steel valves in it. That would be cheaper that having the old heads removed and buying new ones and then having them reinstalled.

For cams... I hear good things about the cams MD have. I think they are VT stage 1 cams. You dont wanna go over stage one because you will have to change out springs and so on.

the only problem i see with daniels response, is the down time your gonna have waiting to get your heads back.

vt engines has a package as does fox lake. you will spend about 2000 - 2500 for a good package and will get appox. 50 rwhp.

i know that the new mustangs have the PI heads but what about on a 98, could i get my heads ported and see similar results to the PI heads of the 99+???
