Default Finally made it to the track

Well, i got in 2 runs in 5hours, it was ridiculous. Anyway for my first time ever, i ran a 14.715 at 98.93mph had a R/T of .837 my 60 was 2.647, that time i bogged the engine down alot and screwed that up. After about 2hours of waiting my second run was a 14.714 at 99.54mph w/ a R/T of .262 and a 60 of 2.641 which this time i was soo worried about bogging down that i spun for tooo long. im pretty dissapointed, but next week i plan to go back, and during the week im going to practice my launching technique, and im guessin ill probably run a 14.2-14.1 w/ a good launch, wat do u guys think??

I think if you have issues with your car you should be skipping the track until you get them solved.

Your 60 foot is horrible, are you feathering the clutch or just dumping it?

the only issues i have w/ it right now are front wheel makes a squeek noise wen turning left somtimes, and i need a new driver side engine mount which i have, but just have to install. The first time i featherd it and it ended up bogging, second time i dumped and spun.

Generally speaking, you can expect .2 off your ET for every .1 you take off your 60'. That doesn't apply for everyone, but for your cars potential times it does.

WIth a trap speed of 99mph you should be running low 14's with street tires... 14.1 - 14.2 would be a likely best run for you if you can get your 60's down to 2.2

I have been running 13.8 and 13.9 with a 2.1 and 2.2 60ft time because I can rarely hook up. Trap speeds are usually somewhere between 100.0 and 102.00. The temps here are finally coming down so I am a happy man!

I dropped my 60' from low 2.2's down to high 1.9's 60' with just Nitto 555r's on the rear. Cut about .4 off my 1/4
