I should be able to post some 0 to 60 times tomorrow. Running a quarter mile is going to have to wait until I find a nice quiet out of the way road. My car is noisy with the off road H pipe and cat back system.

I've got flowmaster weld ins (will be changed to a cat back in due time) and a mac O/R H.

The 'noise' you refer to is music to my ears! haha

but yeah lettin it rip does draw attention to yourself pretty easy. I've let 'er have it a few times past my ex g/f house in pretend 1/4 mile run fashions, and yeah the police have been at my house a few times telling me someone called due to noise disturbance. WHATEVER I do say.

yea i get neighbors yelling at me to slow down (i take off and drive like a grandma in my neighborhood because of kids) when I am going like 20-25 in a 30. it's the funniest thing when i stop and talk to them to let them know how fast I am actually going. It's gotten better since i changed my exhaust up.

my theory my car my exhaust my choice don't like it blow me.

Sorry if it's harsh but it's the way it is. You think I love it when the guy in the harley randomly decides to rail down my street late at night when I'm tryin to sleep? No but I don't bitch because it makes him smile.

Also I love how ticked off my ex g/f's neighbor gets at me. This one middle aged lady who has nothing better to do than bitch at me. If anyone wants to know I'll tell you what she did that was really stupid a long time ago, haha.

But yea I love my non quiet car. It's only gonna get louder when I get headers and a better cat-back next year

going to the track tomorrow, I'll let you know what she does. Anybody know what the stock gear ratio is for a 97 5 spd? I have 3.90's goin in in about a week or so
either a 2.73 or a 3.27... mine's got the 3.27s, it should be on a little piece of stamped steel that's bolted to the differential cover

my 3.27 with limited slip is indicated on that plate by " 3 L 27 "
Did they not have 3.08's like the 94-95's had? I thought 2.73's were a 7.5" differential gear.

I am not certain. Best way is just jack up the back of the car a bit and have a look at the little ID tag on the diff cover. Takes only a few mins and then you will know for sure

2.73's are common on 96-98 GTs
