Default Ford Spark Plugs

I am replacing my spark plugs in my 98 GT with Ford Plugs. Local dealers is telling me AGSF 32FM is the supercession from original AWSF 32P. With a side by side comparision the thread depth is longer on the new parts. IS this correct? Is the spark threads in the head recessed. I am affraid of banging piston to spark plug.

Default RE: Ford Spark Plugs

I think i just answered my own question....

Looking into the spark plug whole the threads are recessed therefore accepting the full length threaded spark plug....
