how do you guys get away with that kind of tint??? I can't get away with anything under 35, due to the law here just coming out so thats all that cops here are looking for and there is a lot of cops here. My buddy had his 20% taken off for a ticket he got. the ticket was only for tint too, not speeding or anything

Alabama doesn't have inspection. The police don't enforce the tint law too much. Not only that but officers are required to have a meter before they can initiate a traffic stop for a tint violation. Some state troopers have meters and a few local officers have them thru the state. Not too many police have the meters. Another law reads that if an officer cannot clearly make out a sillouhette of the vehicle occupants they can stop you and cite you for the violation. I have been stopped for it but wasn't cited Lucky I guess.
