Default What is a safe idle RPM??????????

Well, I just really want to lower it alot. I want to hear those cams. Its set at 820rpm right now. Is it safe to go lower? 700 maybe? Ive heard the lower you go, the less oil pressure you get.

You can tell shes not stock the way it sits, but I just want to be able to tell the size of the cam. You know? Those things cost alot of money, and I want people to know they are there!

Yea I figured you had a tuner lol. Doesn't that thing have a lower-limit range? I mean if you wanted a 500rpm idle would it do that? What if you wanted a 2500rpm idle? Those things that flexible??

Don't lower it any more. You'll just load up with fuel with the big cams. Mines right under 900. I tried to lower it to 750 and it wasn't good. The thing is tuned now...LEAVE IT ALONE...LOL

Mine sounds better at 800-900 for sure, once it its 1100 or more, the cam lope is pretty much dead. I've still got tuning to do on mine since the 2 tunes the dude did for me won't let the car stay running. I have to use the thirde(the one he did for the 3.85 pulley) for it to run. At least he's going to redo it for nothing, since I basically paid for 1 friggin tune. lol. Good thing is, by the time I get it back to him next march/april I'll have the new cbora tank and dual fuel pump setup in along with the new LT's and mid pipe.
