The fastest stock cobra ran a 12.51... i believe thats what i read! A Gt with a KB should be able to take one as long as the Gt has some suspension work done. Otherwise it will probably just spin the whole time. As for the cobra... My buddy here in macon has one that ran 12.65 stock on stock tires. (actually he is from warner robins)The driver mod always helps though! Anyways thats my two cents!

We have all seen these really fast times that magazines such as MM&FF get. They can get a stock cobra in the mid 12's too! But realistically, most cobra owners see around a 13 flat from their stock car.

In the KB GT vs. Cobra race, the driver mod is a very big factor, but the edge would go to the KB GT, imo.

if you have stock tires on the GT and stock tires on the cobra, the cobra would probably win. a stock cobra with dr's and a decent driver will get into the 12's with ease, mid to high 12's. with the stock tires, they will probably run in the high 12's low 13s

i have personally seen a KB GT go against a 04 cobra with a 2.81 pully, chip of course and exhaust and the GT walked all over him...and it wasnt just 1 race...they ran 4 times and it was just more of the same. At the end of the night the cobra went home crying.

stock termies are a rare oddity.. all the ones I've seen have done a pulley swap. The stock termies are also at 400+ they are underrated by ford.
The termie will still blow you in the long run, you may be able to launch harder, cause most termie drivers arent aware of what wheel hop will do and do not know how to get around it..
