I bet the steering column mounted VDO gauges add about 100 fwhp. Thats prolly when he started beating stangs after he added that.

I bet with that mod list it probably runs high 13's to low 14's. Those German cars with chips/tuners and bolt ons can be insanely fast if done right. I believe it.

Dont kid yourself guys. Those things turbo charged can be quick. I got smoked once at the track by a civic. I had like 300 sumthin hp at the time and a crap tune but he beat me fair and square. I did not like the remarks from him in the lanes afterwards. lol But id like to run into him again this yr.

The only thing my wife's 2003 Jetta 1.8T ever smoked was the coil packs. A total of nine replaced in about 22,000 miles. My brother-in-law and his buddies all haveVW's. I have asked them torun me numerous times, but they are more interested in racing on paper instead of at the track.
