Default ABS

So, now and then, my ABS light will come on, turning of my Traction Control. Thing that sucks, is that it usually happens at the worst times. In pouring rain, or when streets are still moist from a down pour. I checked the brake fluid, everything is topped off. Any idea on what could be causing it to go on and off. It started out about once a month, now its up to about 3 times a day, where it goes on for about 20 mins, then back off. Please help, and thank you in advance.

You probably have a bad ABS sensor.

Better check your blinker fluid
+1 to the post above mine. Have you tried reseting your ECU?

Probably a bad sensor like posted above. I have to take my ABS bulb out because I am now ABS'less.

Same here..what I did and it work last time. I clean every sensor with carb cleaner..and it work for a while. Now the damn ABS stays on..I think its a sensor gone bad. I read those things are expensive. Is the ABS is really necessary? When it rains, I drive carefully...very rare my tires lock up on me...I should probably spend the money in some other engine mod than damn sensor lol
