I think he is saying he liked the sound of Borla's if he was saying it was nasty in a bad way I dont see why he would be asking were u can buy them cheap. I think the stingers sounds awesome, but I"m looking for a clip of what the XS mufflers sounds like anybody know where I can find a sound clip of that?

My old boss at Golds Gym has a S/C'ed Cobra with the XR-1 Exhaust and it sounds awesome. Its so damn loud its unreal. All the older members would call him Jeff Gordon because of the sound the car made. You can find Borla exhaust just about anywhere, from Jegs, to Summit. But as far as finding Borla for cheap... I dont think thats possible. Borla is some high dollar stuff $$$$. A top of the line Borla exhaust can run up to around 900+ dollars.

i agree that are way over priced for what you get. But in some applications they can make a car sound nastier (good) than anything else! My buddys dad's sc 97 cobra has the borla race mufflers on it, not sure what model muffler, but it sounds meaner than hell! Don't get me wrong, his is completely modded out. I was thinking about doing a borla side exhaust on mine, but just to dam expensive!

....unless you can find a used one. I picked up a borla catback off ebay for $300 in almost new condition (not the stinger exhaust, the one with the dual circle tips, one smaller inside a larger chrome one, fits the holes in the bumper PERFECTLY). I am VERY happy with the sound of this exhaust. I read so many people on here that say they don't like the sound I wonder if it's really the sound they don't like or the price. Just my 2 cents.....
