Default RE: Please Help! URGENT OBD Code

im trying to read about it and im finding stuff about oxygen sensors...from what i can read the sensor may not be working...so the computer is giving the car more fuel and making it run rich to try to wake up the sensor, in a manner of speaking...and thats why im getting a code thrown?

so is it a problem with the 02 sensor/wiring?

i know its only been like 3 mins since i originally posted...i just wanna get to the bottom of it asap.

thanks in advance for any help btw guys.

P1132 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich - Bank No. 1

sounds like your 02 sensor thinks your running rich.

yea i think that makes sense. cuz my wideband started just leaning out like crazy and the rpms started falling. so if i understand it right...my 02 sensor thinks im running rich...so my car is leaning out to compensate...thus the drop in rpm?

i guess i shouldnt drive it even if i clear the code. anybody know about how expensive 02 sensors are?

thanks for the reply rbstang.

02 sensors are pricey =\ i think they like $50-$70 or something.. i was gonna replace all 4 sensors when i swapped midpipes and i was like wow.. that expensive for a POS sensor...ill just keep the ones i have...

so if i clear the code and drive it...will the computer be reset so that it will throw it again if it happens again? or will the computer ignore it if i clear the code? again...sorry for my ignorance.
