Vortec Mongoose Kit will get you close to 400rwhp and you should still have some money left for install. Most places charge around 800 to 1000 for install and tune. Some charge as low as 600.

Or a Procharger P-1 Intercooled kit with 8 to 10 psi.... Will definately give you more then enough to satisfy you for the time being. Call Texas Hot Rods. They hooked me up with a Great supercharger set up! http://www.texashotrods.com

They will also give you the option to ship your car to them.

Around 5000 for the kit and installation give or take 100 dollars....

You'll save about 400 dollars going non intercooled.... Only Vortech and Novi support Non-intercooled Blowers. Prochargers are all intercooled.

You'll save even more money switching to Geico for auto insurance.

well here what I did, I want a sick fast car, so I bought (and collecting a few parts) a little v2 sq... intercooler, gettn a bov, I have longtubes and 4.10's so Im shooting for 400rwhp nice safe daily driver.... but wait thats not sick fast- Yea I know, so Im doing a turbo setup on the side, custom headers being made.. but its gonna take me a few years to collect all the parts bc Im still in school. So IMO i say do a s/c its good enough to do, waxes most a$$es and later on when you can afford to do a built motor, do you a nasty twin turbo or a big KB.

I say go for either a procharger or step up to a KB. Either one you will need some supporting mods to go with it. Clutch, tranny possibly depending on its life so far... thats the first two that come to mind.

I'm real happy with the 2.1L Kenne Bell that I installed this summer. The full kit, including Big Tube intake and gauges was around $6,000. The 9lbs of boost is good enough for me. If you want more you can easily get it but be ready to do a lot more landscaping, due to the dollars to swap out other parts so you don't blow it up.

If you haven't already; do your exhaust switch first:
A good cat-back system first. (Many to choose from and this forum will have MANY suggestions) Do it yourself.
Possibly replace the H-pipe with an X-pipe. Do it yourself.
Different headers would be good, but is the most difficult to do by yourself.

Most of all... have fun, whatever your choice.

Turbo would be cool but supercharger is gonna be your best bet. Modular Powerhouse has some really good deals on mongoose kits. My kit with install and tune cost about $4700.
Tim is one of the best tuners for mustangs.
The kit is well worth it.
