Default Gears came in today

Got my Motive 3.90's in the mail today, can't wait to get em installed tomorrow. The guy is only charging me $80 bucks Sorry for the pic quality, lost my camera a while back, had to use the phone.

same brand I got. but I didnt get the oil. Ill prob just stop by a NAPA and get some on my way to the shop. Did you get a speedcal or you doing a tune. I cant wait to get mine installed. I went with the 4.10. Congrats on the gears

I've got a 6 tooth drive gear and pink 19 tooth driven gear coming in from Steeda.

not trying to hijack, but where do u put the speed cal gear. do u have to do it when u get the gears because im getting my gears in a couple days and there going in next week. can i get the speed cal when i get paid in about another week

Dude you dont do that on our cars. You need to get a plug in box from ford for that or just get a tuner and adjust it.

Mustangs up until 98 have a drive/driven gear instead of an electronic pick-up for the speed sensor. Thats why I went the route of just swapping the gears instead of a speedcal. I got them for 20 bucks from Steeda, not bad IMO.

Be careful on the cheap install just remember your going to let someone install a part that is going to be turning thousands of RPM's and if failed at 100+ could make you into hamberger for $80. Not that thats a bad deal for $80 but just be safe (:

speed cals are installed and wired behind the shifter. I have one for my 4.10's on my 2001 GT.
